COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course explores the economics of climate change, focusing on the complex relationship between environmental sustainability and economic systems. Students will learn about the causes and consequences of climate change, and the economic theories and policies that can address its impacts. The course combines scientific principles with economic analysis, examining topics such as climate policy, market-based solutions, and the role of international cooperation. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of the economic tools used to analyze climate change and strategies to mitigate and adapt to its effects.

 TARGET GROUP

This course is designed for professionals working in environmental policy, government, international organizations, or the private sector interested in climate change issues.

 Prerequisites:

  • Basic understanding of economics (micro and macroeconomics).
  • Familiarity with environmental science concepts (optional but beneficial).
  • No advanced background in climate science required.

    Cancellation Fee - Cancellation of any participant 5 working days before the start day of a course will incur a 20% cancellation fee.
