COURSE DESCRIPTION

The GEMS 2-week course offers hands-on training in using accessible digital technologies for field data collection and monitoring. Participants learn to utilize tools like KoBoToolbox to gather structured data—including GPS coordinates, photos, and timestamps—that feeds directly into centralized monitoring platforms. This approach allows for remote supervision and adaptive management of development projects.

Through a combination of lectures, practical case studies, role-playing exercises, and group discussions, the course will provide participants with hands-on experience in applying GEMs in an effective and efficient manner.
